Thermal insulation systemThermal insulation is only one component of the thermal insulation system. In order to have an effective thermal insulation, the other components in the thermal insulation system are of great importance for the long-term operation of buildings - adhesives, ground coats, dowels, fiberglass mesh and finishing plaster. All these components are created and tested how they work together when laid in a complete multilayer system. When it comes to a thermal insulation system, instead of a random set of products, we mean components that work together in terms of thermal conductivity, elasticity, mechanical strength, adhesion between layers, vapor permeability and durability during application. Thus, the system responds adequately to the constantly changing aggressive external atmospheric conditions, without compromising and maintaining its efficiency throughout the operational life of the building. Following the high company standards, we conducted numerous tests in the selection of non-adhesive and fasteners for the construction of the facade. Our goal is to achieve as a final result a highly energy efficient site, by increasing thermal comfort and quality of life, using the best waterproofing and thermal insulation materials and preventing thermal bridges of the building, taking into account specific local conditions, microclimate and profitability. To achieve this, we rely on an optimal thermal insulation system of the highest class. When choosing the best product, we took into account several factors: VAPOR PERMEABILITY Permeability is a quality of each layer of the thermal insulation system to pass water vapor, as they pass freely through it. An indicator for measuring vapor permeability is the coefficient μ. It reflects the degree of diffusion resistance against the passage of water vapor, measured against the properties of the air. An important condition for a thermal insulation system is that the individual components in it - adhesive-putty mixture, thermal insulation board, primer and finishing plaster - have compatible vapor permeability and work together. ELASTICITY Elasticity is a very important indicator for a thermal insulation system, especially for the final protective layers. When the sun shines on the facade, the thermal insulation layer prevents the transfer of heat to the wall, which can lead to significant heating of the surface layer. And vice versa – during rain - to a sharp cooling. These temperature differences are accompanied by contraction and expansion to varying degrees of each of the layers in the system. It is of great importance, firstly, that each component of the system is elastic to absorb these movements and secondly, that this elasticity is consistent with the other components. Otherwise, internal tension and system compromise occur. MECHANICAL STABILITY The thermal insulation system is the final finish of a building. Therefore, it must be resistant not only to atmospheric phenomena, such as hail, but also to possible mechanical loads during the operation of the building, such as falling objects, etc. Here, in addition to a durable finish, the in-depth system needs to be load-resistant and again, the components have similar performance and are designed to work together. ADHESION BETWEEN LAYERS The thermal insulation system is multi-layered and therefore the adhesion between the individual layers is extremely important. It ensures that regardless of the tension or loads that occur, the system will maintain its integrity. AESTHETICS Along with the technical characteristics, we pay great attention to the final aesthetic appearance of the facade. DURABILITY When the thermal insulation systems are designed and implemented according to all technical requirements, they have a service life comparable to the life of the building and work for the benefit of the inhabitants. Otherwise, the result is expensive and time-consuming repairs, combined with low efficiency of thermal insulation.
